I built a responsive website for Skåne Combat Club with event info, event maps, and ticket booking, featuring my photography.
Project Overview
Skåne Combat Club Airsoft Events needed a straightforward yet functional website to keep their community engaged and informed. The primary goal was to create a platform that easily communicates event details, shares game maps and rules, and provides a seamless booking and ticket purchasing experience. My task was to deliver a user-friendly, responsive design that met these needs while maintaining a look and feel that resonates with airsoft enthusiasts.
Design & User Experience
The design of the website is intentionally minimalistic, aligning with the client’s request for simplicity. The layout is clean, with a military-inspired feel that reflects the tactical nature of airsoft. High-quality images, captured by me during past Skåne Combat Club events, are used throughout the site to add a dynamic, action-packed visual element. These images not only showcase the thrilling atmosphere of the events but also help to visually engage visitors from the moment they land on the page.
Key Features
Event Information: The website provides a clear and concise way for users to stay updated on upcoming events, with dedicated sections for event details that are easy to navigate on any device.
Game Maps & Rules: A simple file-sharing feature allows users to access and download game maps and rules, ensuring that all participants are well-prepared before arriving on the field.
Booking & Ticket Purchasing: A streamlined booking system enables users to quickly reserve spots and purchase tickets, with an intuitive interface that works flawlessly on both desktop and mobile devices.
Results
The final product met all of Skåne Combat Club’s needs, providing a platform that keeps their community updated on upcoming events. The client was highly satisfied with the end result, praising the site’s ease of use and the professional look that perfectly matches their brand. With all the necessary functionalities in place, the website has become an essential tool for event management and communication, contributing to increased participant engagement and smoother event operations.
